Glide Identity dropped in with a $20M+ Series A that didn’t just turn heads, it turned the whole cybersecurity and telecom sectors toward a new standard of trust.
Founded in 2024 by Eran Haggiag, Glide Identity grew out of ClearX with a mission that cuts deep into the AI era’s core problem: identity. Because when AI can sound, look, and type like anyone, “Who’s really on the other side?” stops being a philosophical question, it becomes an existential one. Glide’s answer is SIM-based cryptographic verification built on the GSMA Open Gateway protocol, eliminating the weak link that’s been haunting us for years: the password.
The $20M+ Series A was led by Crosspoint Capital Partners, with Andre Fuetsch, ex-CTO of AT&T, calling Glide’s enterprise traction “the real deal.” Amigos Venture Capital, co-founded by telecom insider Mattias Rejman, jumped in early, joined by Singtel Innov8 Ventures, impact legend Sir Ronald Cohen, and Fidelity International Strategic Ventures, where Erik Wiesner-Mostenicky now takes a board seat to keep the financial infrastructure side in sync.
Glide isn’t just chasing security. It’s redefining how identity behaves. Their tech replaces one-time passwords with cryptographic signals that can’t be phished, spoofed, or socially engineered. From MagicalAuth’s AI-safe 2FA to SuperPasskey’s passwordless login, Glide-Out’s payment flow, and Glide-In’s instant NFC or QR-based verification, the company’s stack is built like a fortress you don’t have to see to trust.
The timing couldn’t be sharper. U.S. consumers lost $12.5B to scams in 2024, up 25% YoY, and 70% of online carts get abandoned because people don’t trust the checkout process. Glide saw the chaos and decided to build calm. Through partnerships with Google Cloud, T-Mobile, and Verizon, they’re making AI-proof authentication available to enterprises and developers at global scale.
By 2026, Glide plans to hit planet-level deployment through 50+ MNO partnerships. They’re already hosting panels like “Agentic Authentication” at Authenticate 2025 and showing live demos at MWC. The company’s roadmap runs straight into the AGI era, voice commerce, conversational payments, and agentic AI authentication that can prove who (or what) you’re really talking to.
Eran Haggiag isn’t building another login method. He’s building digital trust for a post-truth internet. Glide isn’t gliding over the surface, it’s rewiring what it means to be verified in a world run by code.
