Arkero is an AI native operating system for professional soccer organizations, built in Seattle with a second foothold in Los Angeles. The idea is simple and unforgiving. Daniel Shi, Co-Founder and Head of Business, adds pattern recognition from running Remitly’s UK and Europe business and negotiating partnerships where margins and minutes matter.
On January 29, 2026, Arkero announced a 6 million dollar pre seed round. Roger Ehrenberg of Game Changers Ventures led it, joined by 776 from Alexis Ohanian, BoxGroup from David Tisch, Garuda Ventures, Founders’ Co-op, and Adrian Hanauer, the owner who actually lives with matchday consequences at Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC. That syndicate is not betting on dashboards. It is betting on muscle memory.
The proof is already on the field. Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC cut matchday planning effort by more than fifty percent for the 2026 season. San Diego FC has been live since its inaugural MLS year. Bolton Wanderers FC brought the platform into the English Football League. Same sport. Different continents.
